These bars take their scent from essential oils distilled from the plant itself. It's a quieter scent than a fragrance oil and it fades sooner in the shower, which is the honest trade for wanting the plant and nothing else. If a scent isn't on this page, it's because that bar uses a fragrance oil — and the product page says so.
Essential oils are distilled from plants; fragrance oils are blended in a lab and hold their scent through the cure far more reliably. We use both and label which is which, because a bar that smells like birthday cake was never going to come from a plant.
